  03/30/2010 NEW: Project Presentations will be on 04/21/2010 (Wednesday), 04/23/2010 (Friday--Additional class meeting), and 04/26/2010 (Monday). 04/26/2010 will be our last class meeting.There will 20min presentations by each student, there will be a 5minute question/discussion period following the presentation.

  Midterm exam will be on March 17, 2010, in class. Exam covers all material covered IN CLASS upto and including Lecture 14 (upto the slide I noted in class). Corresponding material can also be reviewed from the text book and the reference books (see syllabus).

  The exam will be close book and notes. ONE SIDE of ONE 8.5X11 formula sheet and a simple calculator are allowed. Additional numerical tables would be supplied by the instructor if needed.

  Project proposals due February 15, 2010. Update your project web pages regularly detailing your progress. Instructor will grade web page progress weekly.
